The 2019 PANTONE Interior Paint Color of The Year

Looking exciting for new exciting interior paint ideas? Image Painting has it. PANTONE® has announced their 2019 Color of the Year – Living Coral! https://www.pantone.com/color-intelligence/color-of-the-year/color-of-the-year-2019-tools-for-designers  So, how do you use this pinkish, orangish (is that a word), bright, yet calm color in your interior design? You could honestly embrace it, and paint it right onto your walls. But for most, our suggestion is to use it as an accent, whether with a well-placed throw or a pillow or even a piece of furniture painted with this hue.

If you’re not taking the “plunge” and painting this color on an interior wall, what colors should you use on the wall that work well with Living Coral?Great question. A variety of neutral shades will work beautifully. Tans, whites and grays for example. If you’re looking for something a little more lively, blues and greens are a great place to start. An olive green, sage or jade would pop. A sea-green or turquoise blue would be gorgeous. A somewhat pastel palette would be very nice, with the Living Coral accents taking center stage. Elle Décor shared some suggestions from the experts at Pantone. These run the spectrum from conservative and calm to totally wild and energizing.

If 2019 is the year for your home to get a new interior look, consider calling Image Painting. We have the trends of today. We can help you use those colors with colors and styles that naturally appeal to you. In the end, you’ll have a beautiful personalized look using interior paint that fits you and the style of the times.
